RIP Les Paul

Hopefully Les Paul's death didn't go under the radar of hip hop. Lester Polsfuss was that guy. Real talk. Why do you ask? Because without him we would not have music like we do now, not at all, not in any capacity. My man invented technology (in his garage mind you) that recording engineers (and of course, guitar players) use every single minute of their knob turning lives. He ripped a flywheel off a Cadilac and pressed acetate disks to record guitar parts on top of each other, inventing Multi-track recording. He also invented a few other little things like, overdubbing, tape delay, the phaser, and one of the most famous and most copied electric guitar designs in history. He also was a fantastic guitar player. Thank you Les for changing the world. RIP.
